Another way to cut costs on packaging and eliminate the excessive pinning and plastic bagging is to fold the garments neatly and orderly and then tie them up with long strips of scrap fabric. The garments would then be organized properly and safely in our recycled cardboard boxes and shipped to our retail stores.

we could also use scrap fabric to tie the bundles together for shipping. we could either overlock the fabric scraps into "belt-loop" shaped tape for tying, or just cut the scraps into straight strips and save ourselves the thread (ragged edges though...). the scraps would be a nice little bit of color/texture, which i always enjoy as a customer
